Hit up the White River last weekend with my buddy. We were targeting some trout since the weather was pretty mild, around 60 degrees with light wind. Water was a bit muddy from recent rain, but we figured we'd give it a shot anyway. Used some spinners and a few power baits. The bite was slow at first — missed a couple of strikes — but then I finally hooked a nice rainbow about 16 inches. My buddy managed to snag a few small ones but overall, it was a decent day on the water. No skunks to report! How's the fishing been treating everyone else this year?
