Ruger Mini-30

I recently own a used Ruger Mini-30 that dates back to late 1996. There are a few parts that aren’t factory originals like the mags and muzzle brake. What do you guys think is a great upgrade for this?

Adding a good optic would be a great upgrade, either a low-mounted red dot or a low-power variable scope.

My dream setup would be a nice trigger, a tuned gas system, and possibly a more durable sight configuration. This would give the Mini-30 a fresh feel without sacrificing the classic vibe that makes it fun to use.
