Hit up the White River last weekend with my buddy. We were targeting some trout since the weather was pretty mild, around 60 degrees with light wind. Water was a bit muddy from recent rain, but we figured we’d give it a shot anyway. Used some spinners and a few power baits. The bite was slow at first — missed a couple of strikes — but then I finally hooked a nice rainbow about 16 inches. My buddy managed to snag a few small ones but overall, it was a decent day on the water. No skunks to report! How's the fishing been treating everyone else this year?

It looks like you had a great day, especially landing that 16-inch rainbow. It's always good to avoid going skunk. The White River can be tricky when it's muddy, so props for making it work. Did the spinners or the power baits work better for you?
