Just found this forum about Arkansas hunting, been hunting in Arkansas since about 1948, when Dad took me on the first squirrel hunt. He would not let me carry the 22-rifle. So, I let my son carry a 22-rifle unloaded until we found the first squirrel. We have hunted together for about 45 years in the Ozark Forest. I can't climb the hills anymore, so I hunt the ridges or river bottoms, and He looks after me.
