What gun would you use for life?

There is no way in which I would be limited to only one gun. That is like asking if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, or have only one shirt.

I think I'd go with a Remington 870 12g. Probably the most versatile gun type. It can be used for both self defense & hunting with a variety of ammo types. It's proven reliable and doesn't have too many parts that are known to fail. I'd want to accessorize it with a light, some sort of optic and a shell carrier.

I’d probably go for a reliable .22 rifle mostly because it’s so versatile.

I’d go with a good 12‑gauge pump, it covers hunting, defense and range time.
