I've been thinking about what to wear when I go to the range and wanted to see if anyone else has some thoughts on it. Not talking about full setups or anything, just your everyday clothes.
After a few trips, I noticed something odd: a lot of folks wear camo, and I can't help but think it looks a bit much, especially for just running basic drills or a few mags through the rifle. I get wanting to look the part, but it feels a little overkill when you're not in the woods hunting.
Lately, I've been sticking to neutral colors—jeans, a plain shirt, boots. It seems more practical and comfortable, plus it doesn't scream "I just walked out of a tactical gear catalog." And obviously, no sandals or flip-flops because that's just asking for trouble.
Is it just me? Am I overthinking what's appropriate? I mean, it's the range, not an op, right? I'd love to hear what you guys wear when you're just out there having a good time.
