Any improvements in service pistols?

When you check out the latest announcements, do you notice any genuine advancements in service pistols or is it just a bunch of marketing hype trying to make things look fresh?

Optics cuts are better now. That’s for real. But other than that? A lot of new guns seem like the same old thing with different slide designs. It's okay, but let’s be honest about it.

I think service pistols have already had their big upgrade years ago. Now, it's mostly small improvements like optic cuts, better grip and slightly nicer triggers. They are good, but nothing that makes old pistols useless.
