I'm curious about everyone's first handgun. Do you still have it, and how do you feel about it now? I'd love to hear your stories or see some pictures!

My first was a Beretta 92FS. I still have it, sits in my safe looking as good as in a picture. It's heavy but shoots 9mm like a dream at 25 yards. I changed the grips to rubber ones to prevent slipping. Are you still shooting your first gun or just keeping it for memories?

My first really good handgun was a Browning Medalist I bought used 1962. I still have it today. In 2002 I had a stroke and went blind in my right eye. About 1998 I was at a gun show in Wichita, Kansas, and a table with a lot of Browning stuff, had a left hand medalist grip for $20. I baught it never thinking I would need it, but it was Factory New and cheep so I bought it. Now I can still shoot it left handed. I really like that pistol.
